How we work
Your work brings people back. Give them a website worth returning to.
An album brings new fans. A book starts a conversation. A new season brings people back to the venue. Meanwhile, pages pile up, archives become harder to search and publishing the next event takes more steps than it should.
We build platforms that connect the history with what happens next: search, discover, subscribe, buy, take part. Every project has its own audience. We design the journey that makes them feel they belong.
Bands, foundations and communities of readers
01 / 03
Elio e le
Storie Tese
A new home for thirty years of content.
More than 2,000 pages migrated from two platforms to Shopify, with a members-only area for paid music lessons.
02 / 03
Heloola
The book continues in the community.
Skip-month subscriptions and private forums for each book. On this project, conversion moved from 0.4% to 2%.

Fondazione
Riccardo Catella
A website for programmes and people.
A North-based architecture organising events, activities, supporters and educational projects.
Music and publishing: build the relationship around the work
Merchandise, subscriptions, lessons, exclusive content and conversations between readers. We build Shopify stores and communities, with Gadget.dev for custom logic.
A fan can explore an archive and make a purchase. A reader can receive a book and find the people to discuss it with. The website keeps the connection going around the work you create.
Festivals and foundations: publish at the pace of your programme
North(opens in a new tab), our visual WordPress framework, gives editors the blocks to build pages, events and features. Rock(opens in a new tab), our multilingual plugin, brings that structure into your audience’s languages.
The programme is ready: open the editor and publish it. We connect calendars, registrations and ticketing so the journey from interest to participation is clear.
An archive to explore. An identity to recognise.
We organise people, works, dates and documents into searchable journeys. We migrate content and map redirects to maintain continuity between old links and the new website
We also make room for visual expression: photography, illustration, motion and interaction where they serve the project. Accessibility informs the interface from the start, so people can browse archives and find events using a keyboard, a phone or assistive technology.

PROJECTS
Culture takes
many forms
Music, reading, photography, public space, linguistic heritage and children’s content. Different experiences that call for curiosity, structure and a voice of their own.
Elio e le Storie Tese
Elio e le Storie Tese is Italy’s most renowned rock band — a band that turned cultured prog comedy into a generational language.
We replatformed two legacy stacks (Processwire + Prestashop) into a single Shopify site, migrating 2,000+ pages via metaobjects, building a band-encyclopaedia content model, GLS shipping integration and a members-only area for paid music lessons by the band.
Ferrara Musica
The new incarnation of one of the oldest and most eminent cultural musical assets of Emilia Romagna’s region.
An event site, joined by a vast archive of content since 1920, soon to be restyled and integrated into the website.
Fondazione Riccardo Catella
Fondazione Riccardo Catella is a Milanese non-profit promoting culture, urban regeneration and public space.
We redesigned the foundation’s site on North, structuring a layered architecture for events, programmes, donors and educational projects.
BAM Biblioteca degli Alberi Milano
Biblioteca degli Alberi Milano is a contemporary botanical garden in Porta Nuova, run by Fondazione Riccardo Catella, with a year-round cultural programme and a community of over 2,000 BAM Friends.
We built a bilingual website around the park and its programme: events, botanical trails, a members’ area, tree adoption and donations.
Foglio
Foglio is the portfolio of fashion photographer Francesco Marongiu.
We built a WordPress-based WebGL portfolio allowing to filter by colour, category and more.
Honorable mention at the Awwwards, CSSDA Innovation, Kudos, CSS Awards.
Ghiti
“Ghiti” is a site full of cartoons, videos, games, cut-out drawings and much more, designed so that children between 3 and 10 years old can play and have fun in a quality Friulian-Italian bilingual context.
Developing and strengthening the knowledge of multiple languages from an early age is “child’s play”, which gives great cognitive, social and cultural benefits throughout life.

What are you launching next?
A tour, a season, a community of readers or an archive opening to the public. Tell us what you are working on, who you want to reach and what needs to be ready for launch.
What happens next. We read your message and reply by email. If the scope still needs defining, we start with a paid discovery phase of two to three weeks, deducted from the project if we go ahead.
